What patients ask us most about plastic surgery, procedures and medical tourism in Cartagena.
How much does the valuation appointment cost and what does it include?
The valuation is COP 350,000 and includes a personalized procedure evaluation, individual surgical plan design, Q&A, final costs and timing. You can book via WhatsApp or pay online (soon via Mercado Pago and PayPal).
Do you treat international patients? How does medical tourism work?
Yes. We treat patients from all over Colombia, the United States, Europe and Latin America. The process starts with a virtual or in-person valuation. We support logistics (accommodation, transfers, interpreter when needed) and coordinate pre-surgical exams. We work with COP and USD pricing.
What is LipoSoft Laser 360°?
It is Dr. Libardo Lambraño's signature technique: softlaser-assisted liposculpture operating in 360° around the body. It enables more defined contours, less surgical trauma and a more comfortable recovery than traditional liposculpture.
How long do I need to recover before flying home?
For surgical procedures we recommend a minimum stay of 10 to 14 days in Cartagena, depending on the type of surgery. During that period we perform follow-ups, lymphatic drainages and authorize travel discharge. Each case is confirmed at the valuation.
Can I combine several procedures in one surgery?
In many cases, yes — for example liposculpture + breast augmentation, or abdominoplasty + HD lipo. Combination depends on your health, pre-op exams and safe operating room times. The combined plan is defined in the valuation with the doctor.
What pre-operative exams do I need?
We request a standard pre-surgical workup: complete blood count, coagulation panel, blood chemistry, electrocardiogram and anesthesiology evaluation. If you live outside Cartagena you can do them in your city before the trip. We hand over the exact list once surgery is confirmed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept transfers, credit cards (local and international) and cash at the clinic. For surgeries we offer fractional installment plans before the procedure day. Online payments via Mercado Pago (COP) and PayPal (USD) are coming soon.
